Our Story
Jabiru Embroidery evolved from a life long love of sewing and a little yellow boat! One year I made Christmas stockings for my own children. The following year it was advent calendars. Over time people saw them and started asking for similar for their children! We officially set sail in November 2013 making the Christmas stockings, later adding children's clothing throughout the rest of the year.
The Christmas stockings were hugely popular and as they were made entirely with my trusty sewing machine, we decided to invest in our first embroidery machine which also enabled us to add what we call "pretties" to the clothing. Over the next few months, the stockings really took off and we expanded the range of products to include more personalised items such as t-shirts, aprons, blankets & bags. In 2018 we added workwear and uniform to our range.
In 2019 we added Mumbles Zippies Bears which can be personalised however you would like with bespoke embroidery. Some of them can even be printed!
While the majority of our work is uniforms and workwear now, we do still thoroughly enjoy making the more bespoke items (pretties!) as time will allow!
In 2020 we added vinyl cut designs to our library and in 2021, sublimation printing was added. Other methods of printing on garments have been added for 2023 meaning that we can supply a truly extensive range of personalised products for you to choose from.
